The Goa government will hold a meeting with various departments to discuss their preparedness in the face of a possible surge in infections amid the ongoing tourist season in the state. This is due to the rising COVID-19 cases in many parts of the world. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said precautionary measures need to be taken in light of the spike in coronavirus cases in countries like China.
“The meeting will take stock of the situation in Goa,” he said.
