Panaji, Dec 24 (PTI)
Goa is bustling with activity as holidaymakers worldwide are flocking to the coastal state to celebrate Christmas and New Year. The roads and beaches of the state are witnessing an extra rush. Hotels in the state are almost fully booked, according to sources from the hospitality industry. The government’s decision not to impose any COVID-19-related restrictions has allowed people to travel and enjoy the festivities without worry. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has clarified that no limits will be imposed until January 2, 2023, but he has urged people to take necessary precautions to protect themselves from the virus.
