A most shameful resolution taken by Bethora-Nirankal Gramsabha on 5Feb23 not to give water connections to migrant workers from Karnataka, because Karnataka is diverting water from our Mhadei river.
If Karnataka is diverting Mhadei water in their own territory without bothering about Goa is WRONG, then isn’t it DOUBLE WRONG not to provide even drinking water to Karnataka people in our own territory?
Isn’t it our Constitutional Fundamental Duty to provide Food, Shelter & Clothing to all Indians, who live in our States?
Is ‘this’ the ‘Goenkarponn‘ (which means ‘Monisponn‘) we are proud of?
Our Goan brothers & sisters are working all over the World as migrants. Is it fine, in principle, to deny basic human needs to them by those Govts in case of inter-state disputes?
