A very good decision to name the renovated Ministers’ Block as मंत्रालय on Goa Statehood Day. We could attain Statehood only because our mother tongue Konkani was made the Official Language of the State.
With a similar spirit, @goacm @DrPramodPSawant could also name the whole Complex at Porvorim, having a Secretariat, the Assembly & Mantralaya, as म्हादय संकूल.
Let every Goan entering this complex – a common citizen, Govt employee, officers, political activist, MLAs, ministers, & even the students attending the Assembly remember what Mhadei means to Goa and how it is a symbol of protecting our ecology. Let it be imbibed in the heart & mind of every Niz Goenkar that protecting the ecology, including all our rivers & water bodies is our prime duty!!!
